Aktion Deutschland Hilft

Help is a member of Aktion Deutschland Hilft

Help - assistance towards self-reliance is a member of "Aktion Deutschland Hilft". Aktion Deutschland Hilft is an association of well-known German charities, which provide fast, effective help for major disasters and emergencies. The charities involved bring together their many years of experience in humanitarian aid abroad in Aktion Deutschland Hilft so that their previous successful humanitarian work can be optimised even further. Aktion Deutschland Hilft currently has 12 members. Help is one of the founding members.


Borda

Bremen Overseas Research and Development Association (BORDA): The international non-profit organisation for development collaboration from Bremen is chiefly involved in Africa and south east Asia. Its work focusses on sanitary facilities, waste water treatment, waste management as well as supplies of energy and water.  


HDL

For over ten years Help has been working via HDL directly with the German Lions. Examples of successful collaboration include aid after typhoon Haiyan in 2013 and the earthquakes in Indonesia in 2009 and Haiti in 2010. Also aid after the triple disaster in Japan in 2011 and after the earthquake in Nepal in 2015.


NAK karitativ

"NAK-karitativ e. V. is the charity run by the New Apostolic Church in Germany and has been supporting our global work for several years. So far NAK-karitativ has sponsored humanitarian aid projects run by Help in Haiti, Pakistan, Nepal and Syria among others."


Klima-Allianz Deutschland is the social association for more climate protection supported by more than 100 environmental and development organisations. The work focusses on implementing campaigns, initiating and organising debates on energy and climate policy and political lobbying and public relations work.


Unicef

We run projects jointly with UNICEF in Niger and Syria.


Help is a full member of VENRO, a voluntary association of about 120 German political development and humanitarian non-governmental organisations.
